Phew! Disney time

Still Friday - just!
Manic week, late nights on the day job and a seven week old baby who has decided that night time is awake time. Probably not the best idea to try out another new style this week - but anyhoo too late now. It's a wee bit rushed due to the circumstances -but close enough to finished. As ever the initial pencils are posted below.

  1. Disney films are a brilliant source of inspiration and with young children in the house you end up seeing loads of them :)

I noticed all of these characters are from the late 80s and early 90s, particular favourites ?

  2. The characters were chosen by someone else (who now has the pencilled version) from a 'can you draw Disney characters?' discussion. I replied 'don't know, let's find out' and took it from there. If my wee boy has his way it'll soon be followed by the Pixar range of characters - lost count of how many times i have seen Cars.

  3. Ah yes, I'm sure most artists have a few stories about the 'can you draw' conversations. For a while the 'can you draw dogs' question was at the top of my list.

  4. Heh heh its Kung Fu Panda on non stop rotation in our house! Which is fine, as it has some really beautiful moments, which are now indelibly burned on to the backs of my eyes!

Great to have a big range of stuff under your belt, eh? You never know when a client will ask "have you ever done X?"
