Thought i would do something a bit out of my normal comfort zone this week, both in terms of content and how i approached the colouring. The inspiration for this one is pretty obvious with Jacksons funeral being this week.

ReplyDeleteReally like this Tom, think the pencil version works really well and love the colour explosions on the finished version. No matter what your own thoughts are about Jackson as a person and the way in which he lived his life (his choices or not) you can't deny the musical talent and the showmanship of the man.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but I can't look at the colour version without thinking of the old animated cartoon 'Battle of the Planets', don't ask me why cos I don't know the reason.
