Robo-Dragon
I'm contributing to a series of Savage Dragon backup stories that are running as support to Eric Larsen's main strip. The page I did featured this character , Robo-Dragon, which was drawn in a 'British kind of way'. It's some way from publication , but here's the character sheet I drew.

For some reason I can hear 'STOMP STOMP' in my head when I look at this geezer, he's a big un alright.
ReplyDeleteThere's more than a little Mongrol in him to be sure.
ReplyDeleteHaven't picked up a copy of Savage Dragonina long time but will keep an eye out for your backup. Nice character sheet - looke like he will be fun to draw. On a totally unrelated note i picked up a trade of 'family' last week - loved your work in it, Simon - top stuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom. I should have a look at Family again someday. It's still my only hardcover....I like hardcovers.
ReplyDeleteI'll let everyone know when my SD story hits, it's a big old jam comic done with my studio mates, Tim Hamilton, Dean Haspiel, Mike Cavallaro, George O'Connor and Joe Infurnari. We all draw a different reality and collaborate on the cover with Larsen. I've no idea how it's going to come out.
