May the Force be with you
Cleaning through my manual portfolios recently and found this watercolour painting from a good few years ago. I discovered by accident (by spilling some old inking ink onto paper) that if ink is old enough the black is no longer black and seperates into various colours giving a nice outer space colour bleed effect. So not wanting to waste the sheet i used that as the base for this image and painted up the characters with watercolour.

Always good to find a new technique accidentally. Something about the physical act of painting with a brush and paints that encourages you to experiment that is more fun than the digital experience I think. Both are fun though :)
